Sweet Earth Kyoto Stir Fry Review

Sweet Earth Kyoto Stir Fry

If there’s one thing we’ve learned at Freezer Meal Frenzy, it’s that great ingredients don’t always equal a great meal. Some of the most disappointing dishes we’ve sampled include ingredients we absolutely love. Unfortunately, the Sweet Earth Kyoto Stir Fry falls into that category.

If this meal looks familiar to you, it’s because the ingredient list is almost identical to Sweet Earth’s Kyoto Burrito, which we enjoyed a lot. Sadly, the dish seems to fall apart when the burrito is taken out of the equation.

This isn’t a very appetizing dish, and it doesn’t taste much better than it looks. The consistency of the rich and mushrooms is off, and the tofu isn’t very appealing either. A lot of the vegetables taste more like red wine vinegar than anything else. It’s a soggy and strange dish that we wouldn’t recommend.

Most of Sweet Earth’s bowls are excellent, and their burritos are fantastic as well. We’re not sure what went wrong here, but we hope it doesn’t happen in the future. We love edamame — and Sweet Earth — but this is a frozen meal that we’re going to stay away from.
