Lean Cuisine Craveables Supreme Pizza Review

Lean Cuisine Craveables Supreme Pizza

Lean Cuisine casts a pretty wide net over the frozen food market, so obviously they’d get into the pizza game. Their Craveables line includes several types of pizza, including the Supreme Pizza.

Like many of the other items in the Craveables line, the Supreme Pizza includes a foldable tray for microwave use.

We’re learning to stop doubting the technology of Lean Cuisine’s boxes, as they usually do a pretty good job of heating up the meal without causing it to get soggy. In the case of the Supreme Pizza, though, the center of the crust ended up getting hard. And we’re not talking a little crispy here, we had to force our pizza cutter through with an unusual amount of force to get this thing cut into slices.

The pizza itself tastes alright. The bulk of the flavor comes from the pepperoni, and you might hardly even notice the sausage and mushrooms. The green peppers are there to provide an additional bit of zest in the background.

All in all, this is a halfway decent pizza. it’s not the best we’ve ever had, but it’s pretty good considering it’s designed to be heated up in the microwave.
