Amy’s Gluten Free Teryaki Wrap Review

Amy's Gluten Free Teryaki Wrap

While we’re huge fans of Amy’s Kitchen at Freezer Meal Frenzy, their gluten-free products can be a little hit or miss. The Gluten Free Black Bean & Quinoa Burrito is kind of mediocre, and the Gluten Free Cheddar Cheese Burrito leaves quite a bit to be desired. So, to be perfectly honest, we were a little nervous to try out the Gluten Free Teriyaki Wrap.

Now, this is actually a pretty serviceable wrap, and it doesn’t suffer for being gluten free. In fact, it reminds us a little bit of Sweet Earth’s Kyoto Burrito, which we love.

It does sort of fall apart when you cut into it, so it can make a bit of a mess, but that’s not a huge problem if it tastes alright. We recommend eating this frozen meal with a fork.

Inside is a pretty tasty mix of brown rice, organic tofu, carrots, mushrooms and broccoli. There’s a great teriyaki flavor to the whole thing, which comes from the addition of pineapple juice, evaporated cane syrup, and a mix of spices.

All in all, this isn’t just a pretty good meal for a gluten-free wrap; it’s a pretty good meal in general. We just wish it would have been a little more filling.
