Sweet Earth Moroccan Tagine Review

Sweet Earth Moroccan Tagine

At Freezer Meal Frenzy, we’re suckers for frozen meals that stray from the beaten path. Sure, we love frozen burritos and microwave lasagna, but we also love more exotic fare. Sweet Earth’s Moroccan Tagine may not be a conventional microwave dinner, but it is a delicious one.

One of the best things about this dish is the sweet potatoes. They’re cooked perfectly; they’re soft on the inside, but firmer on the inside, giving the potatoes a pleasing texture. They’re also seasoned very nicely. Even people who don’t care for sweet potatoes may find this dish appealing.

The bulgar is also excellent. This oatmeal-like grain may seem like a strange addition to a dish like this, but with these vegetables and spices, it works very well. It cuts the spice of the curry and gives the dish a unique flavor profile. Unusual ingredients like seaweed, butter beans, and raisins finish off the meal.

If you prefer traditional freezer meals, this dish may not be to your liking. If, like us, you enjoy the unfamiliar, then you’re going to love this meal. It’s one of the best Artisan Bowls in the Sweet Earth lineup, and it’s definitely worth the price.
