We’ve been pretty impressed by Lean Cuisine’s frozen pasta offering so far. The Lasagna with Meat Sauce is great, and despite a little runniness, the Four Cheese Cannelloni is a must-try.
The Chicken Fettuccini isn’t on par with the frozen dinners mentioned above, but it’s halfway decent for those looking for a quick and easy pasta on the go.
The biggest downside to this meal is that the sauce is incredibly runny. We found ourselves slurping away at this dish like it was a bowl of cereal. The flavor is decent, but we would have liked a bit more parmesan. If you have some parmesan on hand, you’ll probably want to add some to this dish before eating.
The white meat chicken has a wonderful roasted flavor, and the noodles have a great consistency. It’s just too bad the sauce these things were swimming in couldn’t have been a bit thicker.
Lean Cuisine’s Chicken Fettuccini won’t knock your socks off, but it will do in a pinch.
