Lean Cuisine Five Cheese Rigatoni Review

Lean Cuisine Five Cheese Rigatoni

Lean Cuisine is on fire when it comes to frozen pasta meals. Their Spicy Penne Arrabbiata is incredible, and their Lasagna with Meat Sauce is one of the best frozen lasagnas we’ve tried.

So it comes as no surprise that the Five Cheese Rigatoni is a delicious alternative to making rigatoni from scratch at home.

One of the easiest ways to ruin a frozen pasta is to make the sauce too runny. Thankfully, that’s not a problem here, as the sauce thickens right up and blends with the cheese for a really nice consistency. As always, the pasta sauce tastes great too.

The five cheeses represented here are mozzarella, parmesan, monerey jack, romano, and asiago, though the only one with a real presence is the mozzarella. Everything else is pretty scant.

The pasta is the perfect shape, as the cheese and sauce has a tendency to end up inside the shell. This makes every rigatoni noodle an exciting cave of flavor waiting to be explored by your taste buds. It’s great.

If you’re looking for a quick frozen pasta dish, you could certainly do a lot worse than Lean Cuisine’s Five Cheese Rigatoni. We were certainly anxious for seconds when we finished this meal.
