Lean Cuisine Ricotta Cheese & Spinach Ravioli Review

Lean Cuisine Ricotta Cheese & Spinach Ravioli

We’re not always impressed by Lean Cuisine, but they do offer some great pasta dishes. While their Ricotta Cheese & Spinach Ravioli isn’t reinventing the wheel, it is a very tasty meal. Sometimes, the simplest meals are the best ones.

Pasta doesn’t always reheat well; we’ve encountered chewy or dry noodles many times. Thankfully, these ravioli noodles came out perfectly. You’d never know that they’d been sitting in the freezer without being told.

Spinach can also cause issues in some dishes — if there’s too much it can be overpowering, and if it’s too dry it can throw off the taste of the dish. This meal, however, contains the ideal amount of spinach. It tastes very fresh and blends well with the tomato sauce.

The ricotta cheese ravioli filling is creamy and delicious, and we absolutely love the tomato sauce. This dish uses a sweeter tomato sauce, which is a nice choice for a basic ravioli dish like this. We scarfed our noodles down quickly, and were tempted to heat up a second helping once it was gone.

If you’re trying to choose a Lean Cuisine dish, take a closer look at their pasta offerings. They’ve got a lot of excellent lunches in their lineup.
