Good Food Made Simple BBQ Pulled Pork Wrap Review

Good Food Made Simple BBQ Pulled Pork Wrap

Sometimes, the craving for BBQ can be intense and urgent. Thankfully, Good Food Made Simple has a quick solution for such cravings, their BBQ Pulled Pork Wrap. If you keep your freezer stocked with these, you’ll never have to worry about the urge striking at 3am and leaving you without a satisfying cure.

First off, we have a confession to make. We completely disregarded the cooking instructions on the package. We have too much respect for BBQ pork to let this wrap get soggy in a microwave. Instead, we let it thaw overnight, then we wrapped it in tinfoil and threw it into the oven (heated to 375 degrees fahrenheit) for 45 minutes, flipping it over about halfway through. If you’re at all upset, we hope you’ll forgive us when you see how nice and golden brown the shell ended up.

That’s a thing of beauty, right?

It tastes great, with its sweet BBQ sauce taking center stage, and a mix of sweet potatoes, black beans, and monterrey jack cheese. We do have to admit, however, we were a little disappointed at how stingy the actual pork portion was. We were hoping for something thick and stringy, something we’d have to pick out of our teeth. Instead, we got a miniscule portion that was drown out by the veggies.

It also wasn’t enough to fill us up. We were still hungry after we ate this wrap.

If you’re looking to get a good helping of BBQ pork, we very highly recommend Devour’s Sweet & Tangy Pulled Pork. But if you’re looking for a quick, late-night BBQ fix, Good Food Made Simple’s BBQ Pulled Pork Wrap just might do.
