Good Food Made Simple Himalayan Breakfast Burrito

We’re not always satisfied with breakfast burritos when they venture away from the tried and true. In the morning hours, we prefer to stick with the classics. Thankfully, the Himalayan Breakfast Burrito by Good Food Made Simple proves that you can do something different while still delivering a great breakfast.

Like most breakfast burritos, this burrito is filled with egg. However, that’s where the similarities between this and your everyday breakfast burrito end. From the coconut curry sauce to the lentils to the cilantro rice, this burrito is unlike any other breakfast burrito we’ve tried — and we love it!

Good Food Made Simple Himalayan Breakfast Burrito

The coconut curry sauce is definitely flavorful, but the creaminess of the coconut keeps it from being too fiery. The texture of the lentils enhances the egg — the lentils are a terrific substitute for meat-based proteins. We don’t always love cilantro, but the rice in the burritos only lightly seasoned, which leaves it with a very appealing taste. Vegetables like organic tomatoes and peas help to round the burrito out.

There’s a lot going on here, but it all works.

We can be picky about breakfast burritos, but this Good Food Made Simple burrito more than fulfilled our expectations. It’s the perfect morning burrito, and we’d love to have it at lunch or dinnertime as well. It’s a delicious and filling burrito that you can enjoy at any time.
