Amy’s Light in Sodium Spinach Pizza Review

Amy's Light in Sodium Spinach Pizza

Amy’s Kitchen never disappoints us when it comes to frozen pizza. That said, we weren’t completely confident that we would love their Light in Sodium Spinach Pizza. While our staffers definitely appreciate the low-sodium meals that Amy’s is offering, we were worried that this pizza wouldn’t live up to their quality of Amy’s other pizza dishes.

But now that we’ve sampled it, we can say with confidence that Amy’s Kitchen can cut the sodium without cutting the taste.

If you’ve had tried one of Amy’s frozen pizzas before, you already know their crusts are phenomenal. These don’t have the dry, bland crusts that a lot of other frozen pizzas do; they’re well-seasoned and full of flavor. All of that is true for this pizza as well.

The quality of the ingredients here is very high. The mozzarella cheese is made with part-skim milk, but it’s still very rich. It blends beautifully with the feta cheese that is sprinkled on top of the pizza. The spinach tastes fresh and is perfectly cooked. The small chunks of tofu improve the overall texture and taste of this dish.

Like other Amy’s Kitchen pizzas, this pizza has to be cooked in the oven. While this means this pizza takes a little bit longer to prepare, it’s definitely worth the extra hassle.

Amy’s Light in Sodium Spinach pizza is filling and full of flavor. It’s a step above a lot of other frozen dishes on the market. If you’re in the market for a low-sodium pizza, you should pick up one of these pizzas as soon as you can!
