Amy’s Cheese Tortellini Review

Amy's Cheese Tortellini

If you’re looking for a quick, healthy bowl of filled pasta, you could do far worse than Amy’s Kitchen’s Cheese Tortellini.

We heated ours up using the microwave directions, and when the dish first came out of the microwave, it was a little soupy. This was no problem, though; once we let it cool for a few minutes the sauce thickened right up.

The pasta itself — which is filled with a cheesy mix of parmesan, white cheddar, ricotta and organic bread crumbs — is quite tasty, and the sauce has just the right amount of flavor.

Mushroom fans might be dismayed at how few of those are in the mix, while pea lovers will delight at the large amount of peas in the dish. Seriously, this dish is like 20% peas. After finishing the pasta, we found ourselves left with a huge amount of the little green balls in the aftermath.

This is a dish that would be especially great with some bread crumbs sprinkled over the top for texture.

All in all, Amy’s Cheese Tortellini is a pretty decent pasta dish, and at 420 calories (140 from fat), you won’t need to spend extra hours at the gym after consuming one.
