Sweet Earth Burrito Review: The Greek

Sweet Earth Greek Burrito

When we think of Greek food, there are certain flavors that come to mind. We imagine the salty, green taste of Greek salad dressing, or the sharp, tangy taste of feta cheese. None of these flavors stand out in the in Sweet Earth’s Greek Burrito, but this simple frozen burrito still has taste to spare.

The dominant flavor in this burrito is the white beans; they make up the bulk of the burrito. You’ll also notice the perfectly cooked spinach, which is lightly seasoned with lemon juice. Although you’ll also notice the taste of the tortilla itself, the other flavors don’t really stand out. It does contain a small amount of feta cheese, but it’s hard to pick up that taste when you take a bite. There is simply not enough cheese to compete with the more plentiful ingredients.

That said, the burrito isn’t as bland as you might think. The beans and spinach are well-seasoned, and the burrito has a little bit of spice to it. You’ll be able to recall the taste of this burrito long after you clean your plate.

You’re probably not going to want to dine on this burrito if you are craving a classic Greek meal; it simply won’t satisfy your cravings. Still, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a fast, healthy, and savory meal.
