Amy’s Kitchen has a lineup that seems like it’s ever expanding. The recent addition of the Swirls line, made from organic wheat flour, had us intrigued, so we checked out the Mushroom & Cheese Swirls. Each box contains six swirls, so you can share some with a friend.
We feel strongly that these swirls should be cooked in the oven instead of the microwave. This makes them a little crispier and less soggy. In fact, they come out of the oven looking amazing, as you can see in the picture below.
Amy’s organic wheat flour makes some pretty tasty meals, as we’ve found from consuming quite a bit of their pizza rolls. That’s true for the swirls too; the dough has a very nice flavor and texture to it.
This particular version of the swirl concept is packed with button mushrooms, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. It’s a little bit like a pizza roll, we suppose, but a bit more refined. You won’t feel like a kid for munching these down.
Amy’s Mushroom & Cheese Swirls make for a very tasty treat. Just like the box says: “You won’t be able to have just one!”
