Amy’s Spinach Feta in a Pocket Sandwich Review

Amy's Spinach Feta in a Pocket Sandwich

Sometimes it’s easy to tell why a frozen meal doesn’t work. It might be a bit bland, or it might contain a few bad ingredients. In other cases, it’s hard to explain a dish’s lack of appeal. The only thing that you can say for sure is that the meal simply doesn’t work.

There are plenty of things that should make Amy’s Spinach Feta in a Pocket Sandwich appetizing. As with many Amy’s products, the dough is very tasty. On top of that, the spinach tastes fresh, and the filling has a creamy quality to it.

Still, the sandwich just isn’t very good. It feels like someone stuffed a mediocre spinach dip into some bread and called it a day. It’s hard to taste the feta cheese, and it’s also difficult to taste any of the seasoning. Every bite feels like it’s missing something. The meal isn’t flavorless, but there’s just not enough flavor here.

If Amy’s Spinach Feta in a Pocket Sandwich had had a few more ingredients, it might have been a decent sandwich. As is, this is one dish that we’re not going to eat again. It’s not a great sandwich, and it’s not a very satisfying meal. It’s reasonably healthy, but that doesn’t make up for its other failings.
