Amy’s Vegetable Lasagna Review

Amy's Vegetable Lasagna

If you’re cooking for one, you probably won’t want to make an entire lasagna. But frozen lasagna, with its smaller portion size, is an easy way to get the meal that you want without going through a big hassle. Do you have to sacrifice taste for convenience? Not if you stick with Amy’s Kitchen frozen food products.

The Vegetable Lasagna isn’t one of Amy’s best meals. It’s fairly satisfying, but it does have its share of problems. The noodles are a little on the chewy side. There isn’t quite enough zucchini, nor is their enough ricotta. There is a lot of spinach, and while that spinach is tasty, it feels like too much of a good thing.

Still, when you look at the big picture, you have to admit that it’s a solid frozen lasagna. The organic tomato sauce is delicious; we were scrapping the sides of the container to get a few more bites. You get a substantial helping; one frozen meal should be more than enough to fill your stomach. You can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients.

If you’re looking for a fast and healthy lasagna, and you’d prefer to avoid meat sauce, this dish has you covered. It’s a little high in fat, but it’s still pretty nutritious for a microwave meal.

The vegetable lasagna is way too salty. It could use half the amount .my meal had black beans. No spinach.
