Microwave pizza can be a bit tricky. While pizza is always a treat, microwaves aren’t necessarily the best way to heat pizza crust; the crust often end up chewy or dry. Thankfully, not all frozen pizzas have this problem. The crust of Lean Cuisine’s Four Cheese Pizza — a part of their Craveables line — doesn’t taste as good as something that came straight from the oven, but it is soft and appetizing.
Of course, crust isn’t the only thing this pizza has going for it. Although some of the cheeses used on this pizza are low-fat, not of them are lacking in flavor. The tomato sauce is also pretty appealing; it’s definitely the kind of dinner that pizza lovers can enjoy.
Preparing this pizza isn’t complicated or time-consuming. You can break off part of the box and turn it into a microwave-friendly tray. We suspect that the tray is why the pizza cooks so perfectly.
The picture above may make it seem like this pizza is lacking in cheese. However, we didn’t find that to be the case at all. Every bite we took had cheese to spare. Because the crust is soft, the pizza was also easy to eat. It’s the kind of frozen pizza that you could easily enjoy at work.
If you’re looking for a microwave pizza that won’t leave you disappointed, this Lean Cuisine pizza is a dish worth trying. It can’t compare with a freshly-made pizza, but it’s an appealing and easy option. It’s fast, flavorful, and very convenient. It’s hard to say no to something like that!
