Lean Cuisine Fettuccini Alfredo Review

Lean Cuisine Fettuccini Alfredo

Our staff is a big fan of Lean Cuisine pasta dishes. Many of their pastas are exceptional; we love dining on them. Unfortunately, those feelings don’t extend to their fettuccini dishes. We wanted to like Lean Cuisine’s Fettuccini Alfredo, but we found it to be a letdown.

That isn’t to say that this Fettuccini Alfredo is a bad dish. The texture of the noodles is fine enough, and the sauce is as creepy as you’d expect it to be. It’s just that the meal as a whole is mediocre; there’s not much flavor here. If you don’t add some seasoning of your own, you may find this to be disappointingly bland.

Of course, there are things to like about this frozen meal. Fettuccini Alfredo tends to be high in fat and calories, but this version is diet-friendly. There are only 260 calories, and only 45 of them come from fat. If you want to indulge in alfredo, but want to watch what you eat, this meal may be worth sampling.

If you’re not a big alfredo fan, however, this meal is a hard pass. There are so many great frozen dishes out there, and it doesn’t make sense to lunch on something this lackluster. We love Lean Cuisine pasta, but this dish is something we could do without.
