Amy’s Teriyaki Bowl Review

Amy's Teriyaki Bowl

Amy’s Teriyaki Bowl is something we’ve been meaning to try for a while — this gluten-free bowl seemed like it was right up our alley. Our staff finally got around to trying it out, and we have to say it was worth the wait.

We were impressed with the Teriyaki Bowl as soon as we took it out of the microwave. Some of the meals we try look nothing the box art, but this bowl is exactly what’s advertised. It’s loaded with veggies and tofu, and it has the perfect amount of sauce for the rice.

Amy's Teriyaki Bowl

This frozen food isn’t reinventing the wheel; it’s just a simple, basic veggie and rice dish. In fact, this is the kind of quick and easy meal our staffers like to cook at home. The Teriyaki Bowl may not be doing anything exciting or new, but it’s nice to have basic, nutrient-rich meals like this in the freezer. It’s the perfect thing to eat when you need a quick infusion of nutrients.

All of the vegetables taste incredibly fresh, and the tofu has a nice texture to it. However, we were most impressed with the quality of the soy sauce. This soy sauce is a step above the sauce you might find on the table at restaurants. It really tastes homemade.

If you’re looking for frozen vegan dinners, or if you’re simply on the lookout for a healthy microwave meal, Amy’s Teriyaki Bowl is perfect for you. It tastes great, it contains high-quality ingredients, and it only contains 6 grams of fat. It’s hard to say no to a meal like that!
