Lean Cuisine Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli Review

Lean Cuisine Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli

Lean Cusine has done a great job of releasing flavorful frozen ravioli dishes that are diet-friendly, and their Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli continues the trend. From the portabella and cremini mushrooms to the ricotta cheese, there’s plenty to love about this meal.

As is the case with other Lean Cuisine pasta dishes, the texture of the ravioli noodles is perfectly fine. The filling is absolutely amazing. It’s a creamy blend of mushrooms and cheese that our reviewers couldn’t get enough of. We know this is supposed to be a light dish, but we would have been happy to have a few more pieces of ravioli.

Of course, a great filling isn’t the only thing this dish has to offer. The Marsala wine sauce is also phenomenal. If the sauce was too heavy, it might overpower the delicate flavor of the mushrooms and cheese. Instead, it highlights them. All of these flavors coexist in perfect harmony.

The vegetables are also a nice compliment to the meal, especially the red bell peppers. Even though they’d been heated up in the microwave, they still had a bit of crunch to them. The spinach was also very good, especially when we soaked it in the Marsala sauce.

We were definitely impressed with this ravioli dish, and we’ll certainly be trying it again. If you’re looking for a new Lean Cuisine meal, give this one a try.
