Amy’s Indian Samosa Wrap Review

Amy's Indian Samosa Wrap

If you’re craving samosas, you might not want to pick up Amy’s Indian Samosa Wrap. While it does contain peas and potatoes, it doesn’t taste anything like an authentic samosa. However, if you’re in the mood for a healthy burrito, this wrap is a safe bet.

Amy’s Kitchen isn’t stingy when it comes to the potato portion of this wrap. As you can see in the image below, this thing is loaded with huge chunks of potatoes. What you may not be able to see is that the potatoes are seasoned; every bite of potato is full of flavor.

The wrap is a little less generous when it comes to peas and tofu, but you can definitely taste all of the ingredients. It also contains jalapeno peppers, which gives it a nice kick. This isn’t overwhelmingly spicy or anything, but it does have some heat.

We did find the wrap itself to be a little on the tough side. This may be because we heated the wrap in the microwave. If you have enough time to heat the wrap in the oven, we recommend cooking it that way — we think that would definitely make this taste even better.

If you’re looking for great authentic samosas, you may want to try Tandoor Chef’s Samosas with Mint Chutney. If you’re simply interested in sampling a new Amy’s wrap, however, this Indian-inspired dish is worth trying.
