Believe it or not, the Freezer Meal Frenzy staff doesn’t do all of our grocery shopping in the freezer aisle. Occasionally, we venture to other parts of the supermarket, we can discover products like Amy’s Tuscan Bean & Rice Organic Soup, which was made by one of our favorite frozen food brands.
(Don’t blame us! Amy’s told us to look for them in the soup aisle!)
If you’ve ever cooked a can of soup before, then this soup isn’t going to surprise you. The can does have a pull tab, which means you can open it up when you don’t have a can opener available. While it can be heated on the stove, we opted for fastest option and nuked it in our microwave.
As soon as we opened the microwave door, we were hit with a waft of appealing spices. Because the label says “organic spices,” we’re not quite sure what we were expecting, but the scent was definitely intoxicating. We gave the soup a minute or so to cool, then grabbed a spoon and dug in.

If you’re looking for a simple and healthy soup that you can prepare in a matter of minutes, Amy’s Tuscan Bean & Rice Organic Soup is a terrific choice. It’s every bit as good as the frozen products from Amy’s Kitchen. It’s a robust soup, even though it only contains 320 calories, and it will leave you feeling full long after your bowl is clean.
