Alexia Organic Sweet Potato Fries Review

Alexia Organic Sweet Potato Fries

While we often associate fries with fast food, they’ve actually been around for centuries. In fact, some documents trace them all the way back to 17th century Belgium. Fries made from potatoes are the standard, but we’re a big fan of fries made from sweet potatoes. We’ve tried many different kinds of sweet potato fries, but we hadn’t sampled the Alexia Organic Sweet Potato Fries until very recently.

If you’ve made frozen fries before, nothing about cooking these fries is going to surprise you. All you have to do is heat your oven, toss them on a pan, and let them cook for a while. Because sweet potato fries tend to be softer, you might want to leave them in your oven for slightly longer than the recommended cook time if you want something crispier.

Some of Alexia’s fries are heavily seasoned, but that’s not the case with these fries. They’re sprinkled with a smidge of sea salt and paprika, but the taste isn’t very strong. If you try to eat the fries as is, you might find them to be plain. We chose to dip them in barbeque sauce, and the results were very tasty.

We’ve always found Alexia’s products to be well-made, and that’s definitely the case with these fries. They really taste like they were made from fresh sweet potatoes. However, since they’re pretty basic, there isn’t much to set them apart from other sweet potato fries on the market.

If you’re a fan of sweet potato fries, and you have some sort of dipping sauce on hand, you really can’t go wrong with the Alexia Organic Sweet Potato Fries. They’re a little bit basic, but that’s not always a bad thing. The natural flavor of sweet potatoes is delicious, and when you dine on these fries, you’ll have the chance to enjoy that.
