We’re big fans of regular Talenti gelato, but we might like their gelato layers even more. When you dig into one of these pints, you won’t just get to enjoy one type of gelato; you’ll be able to enjoy layer after layer of deliciousness. The Talenti Salted Caramel Truffle Gelato Layers is an addictive and incredibly tasty frozen treat.
You’ll find a total of five layers in this dish. The first layer is Talenti’s Sea Salt Caramel gelato, which is a favorite of ours. Next comes a layer of crispy crumbled cookies. After that is an indulgent layer of dulce de leche, followed by a simple-yet-delicious layer of vanilla gelato. If that’s not enough delectable goodness, when you get to the bottom of your pint, you’ll find a layer of caramel-filled truffles.
Because the gelato is layered, you won’t be able to enjoy all of these flavors in your first bite. You’ll have to keep digging deeper if you want to enjoy everything it has to offer. It’s hard not to keep going back for more of this gelato, even when you know you’ve eaten more than you should. We kept digging and digging until we managed to reach the caramel truffles on the bottom, and then we ate even more.
Every one of the layers in this gelato is delicious. The crispy cookies add some nice texture to the dish. We love the way the dulce de leche blends with the vanilla gelato, and it’s great alongside the rich caramel gelato as well. And, of course, the truffles are a real treat. They’re so good that we’d gladly eat them on their own.
Talenti Salted Caramel Truffle Gelato Layers should be avoided at all costs if you’re trying to watch what you eat. A full pint clocks in at 960 calories, and one person can easily polish this off on their own. However, if you’re looking to treat yourself, this is one of Talenti’s tastiest gelatos. Each layer is absolutely phenomenal, and the flavor combinations are heavenly. This is a frozen snack that’s worth breaking your diet for.
