Morningstar Farms Veggitizers Veggie Popcorn Chik’n Review

Morningstar Farms Veggitizers Veggie Popcorn Chik'n

We’re big fans of Morningstar Farms products, especially their faux chicken. We pretty much always have a bag of their nuggets in our freezer. So when we saw that the Morningstar Farms Veggitizers Veggie Popcorn Chik’n had been moved to the Veggitizers line of products, we were happy to have an excuse to review these vegetarian-friendly bites a second time.

Although you can heat these faux meat products in the microwave, we generally prefer to cook them in the oven. The breading is a little crispier that way, which we appreciate. Microwaving these chick’n bites will take you less than a minute, while heating them in the oven will take around 10 minutes. It’s quick and easy either way.

Aside from the branding and packaging, it doesn’t look like Morningstar Farms has made any changes to their popcorn chik’n. The ingredient lists are identical, as are the nutrition facts. Thankfully, since the product was already delicious, there were no changes necessary.

The biggest difference between this product and the standard Morningstar Farms nuggets is that these chik’n bites are absolutely tiny. The small size makes these a little lighter and airier than the nuggets, which is something we appreciate. We love the way these taste with barbecue sauce, but they’re also great doused in ketchup or eaten plain.

The Morningstar Farms Veggitizers Veggie Popcorn Chik’n is a great product to have on hand if you like quick and easy meatless foods. If you’ve had this product in the past, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s just as great as ever. If you’re new to this product, now is a great opportunity for you to try it for the first time.
