Lotzza Motzza Micro Brew 4-Meat Pizza Review

Lotzza Motzza Micro Brew 4-Meat Pizza

It’s always a joyous occasion when the Freezer Meal Frenzy crew gets to review a Lotzza Motzza pizza. We’ve not yet met a Lotzza Motzza pizza we didn’t like, and at this point it doesn’t look like we ever will.

So today we’re going into our review for the Lotzza Motzza Micro Brew 4-Meat Pizza knowing that we’re going to love this. There’s just no way that Lotzza Motzza could screw up this particular pizza.

Cooking one of these is simple. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit, place the pizza on a baking sheet, and cook for about 21 minutes. The instructions on the wrapping say to cook this directly on the center rack of your oven, but we always use a baking sheet and it always works out really well. So what are the four meats here? Well, you’ve got your basic sausage and pepperoni, and then there are the wild cards of bacon and canadian bacon. The canadian bacon is probably the biggest surprise here, as we usually don’t see it on pizzas that aren’t dubbed as Hawaiian-style.

The sausage is, as you might guess, fantastic. We’re huge fans of Lotzza Motzza’s sausage, so this should come as no surprise. The canadian bacon, however, is otherworldly, which we weren’t expecting (especially after having been overly critical of Lotzza Motzza’s Hawaiian pizza). This stuff is mind-blowing, though unfortunately there’s not a whole lot of it here. The pepperoni is juicy and jam-packed with flavor, and the bacon — well, that’s diced up into itty-bitty cubes so it’s hard to get a read on it here. Considering how well the other three meats blend, though, the bacon is really just a bonus.

Aside from the meat, this has all the hallmarks of a fantastic Lotzza Motzza pizza. The gobs of mozzarella chesse are as gobby as always. The sauce has just a bit of spiciness to it. The crust has that pub-style crispy, crackery taste and feel. Lotzza Motzza knows their stuff, and this pizza does absolutely everything right. Really, this is a flawless pizza.

Now, there’s one thing we should talk about here, though we can’t really call this a flaw. No, we knew what we were getting ourselves into when we picked this one up. But Lotzza Motzza pizzas are not known for being low in calories. One third of this pizza contains 390 calories, and we think you’ll probably eat twice that much in a sitting (with Micro Brew pizzas, we’ll typically eat about 5/8 of the pizza, then save the other 3/8 for when we get hungry later on). And the sodium? 1,180 mg in 1/3 of a pizza. Yowzers!

The Lotzza Motzza Micro Brew 4-Meat Pizza is pretty much perfect. While the calorie count could be a bit lower, we really can’t complain when the flavor is this good. Lotzza Motzza hit another home run, which doesn’t surprise us one bit.
