Dr. Praeger’s Broccoli Littles Review

Dr. Praeger's Broccoli Littles

The Freezer Meal Frenzy staff has never turned our noses up at broccoli. Whether it’s raw or roasted, it’s a nutrient-rich veggie that we always enjoy. That said, we know that broccoli is the bane of many picky eaters. If you know a kid that won’t eat their broccoli — or if you’re a broccoli-avoider — Dr. Praeger’s Broccoli Littles are the perfect solution.

While the front of the box only shows broccoli stars, these tiny treats are actually better than advertised. They come in several adorable shapes, including broccoli dinosaurs. We don’t have any children on the Freezer Meal Frenzy team, but we can report that the Broccoli Littles were cute enough to win over our adults staffers.

Of course, these treats aren’t just nice to look at. They’re also incredibly tasty. Made from a blend of broccoli and potatoes, these snacks have a light, soft texture that’s slightly reminiscent of tater tots. The chunks of broccoli have a bit of a crunch to them, which pairs nicely with the doughy potatoes.

These treats aren’t lacking in flavor; we ate them plain and didn’t feel like they were missing anything. However, if you’re looking for something to dip these snacks in, both ranch dressing and ketchup would work nicely. If you’re serving these snacks to adults, you could even try whipping up a soy mayo dip!

Dr. Praeger’s Broccoli Littles may have been designed with kids in mind, but they’re tasty enough for people of all ages. Whether you’re an avowed broccoli hater, a parent, or a person that loves snack food, these delicious little snacks are something you should try.
