Udi’s Three Cheese Pizza Review

Udi's Three Cheese Pizza

While pizza has long been a staple of frozen food lineups, it can be tricky for anyone trying to avoid gluten. Thankfully, Udi’s provides gluten-free frozen pizzas, including the vegetarian-friendly Three Cheese Pizza. Of course we had to try it!

And we weren’t disappointed.

We’d probably compare this to, say, a pizza you’d order late at night at a bar. The crust is thin and a little crispy, and it comes coated in a very thin layer of sauce and some cheese on top. It’s a pretty simple meal.

It tastes alright — along the lines of, say, a Jack’s frozen pizza — but it leaves a strange lingering aftertaste that we can’t quite place. It wasn’t enough to ruin this frozen meal, but it’s noticeable enough that it’s worth pointing out.

The suggested serving size is a half pizza, but we won’t blame you if you go ahead and eat the whole thing. Be warned, though, a full pizza adds up to 720 calories (220 from fat), so you’ll probably not want to make a habit of it.

Udi’s Three Cheese Pizza is a pretty decent frozen pizza that’s safe for those who need to avoid gluten.
