Sweet Earth has mastered the art of the frozen burrito, but their Artisan Bowls tend to be hit or miss. Some bowls, like the Bean & Mango Cubano, perfectly blend fresh ingredients, but other dishes, like the Pizza Mac & Cheese, have an unpleasant watery consistency.
So where does the Enchilada Suiza fall? Thankfully, this bowl is a big hit.
Like the Borderless Enchilada, the Enchilada Suiza comes out of the microwave looking like a soupy mess. That said, the Enchilada Suiza offers the kind of flavor that the Borderless Enchilada is lacking. It smells absolutely amazing, and it tastes even better.
As with most Sweet Earth products, the Enchilada Suiza contains a variety of healthy, natural ingredients. However, a few of the ingredients in this dish really make it stand out. The tart taste of tomatillos blends wonderfully with the salty sharp taste of feta cheese. The sweet potatoes have an excellent consistency, and the poblano chile pepper gives this dish an extra kick.
The dish also contains white beans, which means it has protein to spare. At 360 calories, it’s a savory and satisfying low-calorie option for lunch or dinner.
