Good Food Made Simple surprises us sometimes. They tend to make some incredible meals, like their Chipotle & Poblano Breakfast Enchiladas or their Chicken Enchiladas Verdes. But once in a while, they create something that just doesn’t feel like them, something with low-quality ingredients like the Chicken Pad Thai. So we were a little nervous to try out the Thai Style Chicken.
While this isn’t our favorite Good Food Made Simple meal, it does feel a bit like they took this one a bit more seriously than their pad thai dish. The noodles are a definite step up, and the chicken actually has a good flavor.
The sauce is pretty great as well. It has a nice savory flavor, and it’s even just a little bit spicy. If you’re a hater of broccoli, however, take heed — this dish is loaded with the stuff.
Good Food Made Simple’s Thai Style Chicken is a pretty decent Thai-inspired dish. We doubt the folks at Good Food Made Simple take the time to read a site like Freezer Meal Frenzy, but it feels like they took all of our complaints about the Chicken Pad Thai and addressed them with this dish. It’s pretty tasty!
