Good Food Made Simple Uncured Canadian Bacon Breakfast Burrito Review

Good Food Made Simple Uncured Canadian Bacon Breakfast Burrito

While Canadian bacon tastes great on Hawaiian pizza, it’s also known as a common breakfast meat. The Uncured Canadian Bacon Breakfast Burrito by Good Food Made Simple makes use of this fact to create a burrito that is undeniably breakfast.  (As opposed to their Southwestern Veggie Breakfast Burrito, which takes a hard left straight out of breakfast country.)

Unlike many of their competitors, Good Food Made Simple does a very interesting thing with some of their breakfast burritos, and they add a white cheddar cream sauce that ensures every bite is moist and delicious. (You’ll find this in their Turkey Sausage Breakfast Burrito as well.) We’re big fans of this decision at Freezer Meal Frenzy.

The rest of the breakfast gang is all here. You’ve got cage-free eggs, Canadian bacon, peppers, roasted potatoes, and cheese. These sound like the ingredients of an omelette, don’t they?

According to the package, this burrito has a “Mild” spiciness rating, which probably comes from the jalapeno peppers and the pepper jack cheese. We didn’t even notice any spice at all, so if you are sensitive to spicy food, this is probably going to be okay.

This hits all the notes of a proper breakfast burrito but still manages to add some Good Food Made Simple spin to it.
