Good & Gather Cauliflower Crust Vegetable Pizza Review

Good & Gather Cauliflower Crust Vegetable Pizza

It’s clear that the cauliflower craze isn’t going anywhere! We’ve sampled all kinds of cauliflower products at Freezer Meal Frenzy, from cauliflower mac & cheese to Kung Pow cauliflower. When we spotted the Good & Gather Cauliflower Crust Vegetable Pizza in the Target freezer aisle, we knew we had to give this veggie-heavy product a try.

The instructions recommend placing the pizza directly on the oven rack, but because we wanted to avoid mess, we put our pizza on a baking sheet instead. We allowed it to cook for a full 12 minutes to ensure that it had ample time to cook through. The cheese hadn’t browned when we took our pizza out of the oven, but the crust was perfectly crisp. We regret nothing.

As you can see in the picture above, this pizza isn’t stingy when it comes to toppings! It’s absolutely loaded with green and red peppers, and there are plenty of juicy mushrooms as well. All of the veggies are finely chopped, which means there’s plenty of peppery goodness in each bite. The tomato sauce is slightly sweet, and the gooey mozzarella cheese. is absolutely delicious. We couldn’t have made it any better ourselves!

In the past, we’ve had some issues with the consistency of cauliflower-based products, including products with cauliflower crusts. We’re glad to say we have no such problems here. The crust came out perfectly crisp, and we didn’t find it to be tough or chewy at all. If you don’t like the taste of cauliflower, however, you might be out of luck. Some of our staffers loved the way the cauliflower flavor complemented the mozzarella cheese, but others found the taste to be slightly off-putting.

This pizza is heavy in toppings and flavors, but otherwise, we did find it to be a bit lightweight. With just 7 grams of protein per serving, it’s not necessarily the best thing to eat when you’re ravenously hungry. According to the Nutrition Facts, a serving size is 1/2 a pizza, and a single person could easily polish off this entire pizza on their own.

The Good & Gather Cauliflower Crust Vegetable Pizza isn’t the most satiating pizza we’ve sampled, but we still found it to be incredibly tasty. If you’re looking for a pizza that’s a little less carb-heavy, or if you’re just a big fan of peppers, we’d strongly suggest that you give this a try! This light veggie pizza would make a great appetizer, and we can confirm that it also makes for a very tasty meal.
